Strategy declares daily STRC dividends for November, but only if shareholders approve the switch
Summary
Strategy’s board declared daily cash dividends on its STRC preferred stock for every calendar day from Nov. 1 through Nov. 30, 2026, totaling $1.00 per share, according to an Oct. 16 SEC Form 8-K also reported by Cointelegraph.
Each daily dividend, $0.03 or $0.04 per share, is payable on the business day after its record date, with payments running from Nov. 2 to Dec. 1, the filing shows.
The dividends are payable only if stockholders approve daily-dividend amendments at a special meeting scheduled for Oct. 28 (by 5 p.m. New York time on Oct. 31) and an amended STRC certificate takes effect by 12:01 a.m. ET on Nov. 1; if so, the previously declared Nov. 15 dividend will not be paid, and if not, it will be.
STRC’s annual dividend rate stays at 12% for November record dates, and Strategy said management will keep recommending that rate until STRC has shown “sustained, healthy trading near $100 per share.”
Cointelegraph reported STRC was down 0.2% at $99.32 on Friday as of 1:36 p.m. UTC, just below its $100 par value, and said daily dividends could make the shares more appealing to investors.
