Tether Capital joins AIsa’s seed extension as the startup pitches governed payments for AI agents
Summary
Tether Capital announced a strategic investment in AIsa, a San Francisco startup that lets AI agents access and pay for data, APIs, models, software and computing through one governed interface billed in fiat or stablecoins.
AIsa said the seed extension with Tether and HIVEN brings its total funding to more than $9 million and adds the new investors alongside prior backers including Alibaba, Tribe Capital, Sumitomo Corporation, Draper Associates and Saison Capital.
Cointelegraph reported the same round and quoted AIsa founder and CEO Jordan Liu on building infrastructure so agents can discover, access and pay for resources while enterprises keep control of permissions and spending.
Tether said AIsa reports more than 250,000 agents on its platform, over 100 million transactions processed and access to more than 5,000 APIs, skills and models through one key, and linked the deal to its broader push after investing in NEURA Robotics.
